Saint Philip, the Deacon
Saint Philip, the Deacon, was one of the first seven deacons chosen by the apostles in Jerusalem, as described in the Acts of the Apostles. He played a significant role in the early Church, preaching the Gospel in Samaria and baptizing the Ethiopian eunuch. Renowned for his evangelizing zeal and miracles, Philip's ministry expanded the reach of Christianity beyond Jewish communities.
