Saint Landry of Paris
St. Landry, also known as Saint Landeric, was a Bishop of Paris in the 7th century. Born in France, he served as the Bishop of Paris from approximately 650 to 661 AD. During his episcopate, he was known for his charity and concern for the poor, establishing hospitals and other institutions to care for the needy. St. Landry is venerated as the patron saint of Paris and is celebrated on June 10th, the date of his feast day. His legacy continues to inspire acts of compassion and service to the community.
