Sts. Primus and Felician, Martyrs
Saints Primus and Felician were Christian martyrs who suffered persecution and death for their faith in the 4th century. They were brothers, born in Rome, and held in high esteem for their piety and courage. During the reign of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, they were arrested, tortured, and ultimately executed for refusing to renounce their Christian beliefs. Primus and Felician are venerated as patron saints of those suffering from mental illness and nervous disorders.
