Saint Juliana, virgin and martyr of Cumae, was a young Christian woman who lived during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. She was betrothed to a pagan official but refused to marry unless he converted to Christianity. For her steadfast faith and refusal, she endured severe tortures and was eventually beheaded around the year 305.
