Sts. Mark and Marcelliano, Roman martyrs

Sts. Mark and Marcelliano were Roman martyrs who were executed during the persecution of Christians under the Roman emperor Diocletian in the late 3rd century. They were twin brothers who steadfastly refused to renounce their Christian faith despite intense pressure and torture. They are venerated as heroic examples of faith and courage in the face of adversity.
