Saint Maxentius
Saint Maxentius was a French abbot in the 5th and 6th centuries. He was the abbot of the monastery at Agde and later in Poitou, noted for his humility and miracles attributed to his intercession. He is venerated as a protector against drought and maladies. His life was marked by prayer, solitude, and the care of the poor. After his death, his tomb became a place of pilgrimage.
