Sts. John and Paul, Martyrs

Saints John and Paul were two Christian martyrs who lived in the 4th century. They were brothers who served as officers in the Roman army under the emperor Julian the Apostate. When they refused to participate in pagan religious rites, they were executed around the year 362 AD. The brothers are honored for their courage in professing their Christian faith, even unto death.
