Saint Otto, bishop of Bamberg
Saint Otto, bishop of Bamberg, was born around 1060 in Swabia, Germany. He became bishop of Bamberg in 1102 and is renowned for his missionary work among the Pomeranians, converting many to Christianity. Otto promoted church reform and peace, built churches, and cared for the poor. He died in 1139 and was canonized in 1189.
