Saint Theobald, hermit of Provins
Saint Theobald, hermit of Provins, was born into a noble family in France in the early 11th century. Inspired by the lives of saints, he renounced his inheritance and embraced a life of poverty and solitude as a hermit near Provins. His humility, charity, and devotion attracted many visitors seeking spiritual guidance. He died in 1066, and his holiness was recognized quickly by the faithful.
