Saint Oriel, more commonly known as Saint Oriol or Oriole, was a priest and canon of Barcelona in the 11th century. He was renowned for his piety, humility, charity, and miraculous deeds. Saint Oriol is especially venerated in Catalonia, Spain, where he is considered a local patron. His life was marked by devotion to the sick and the poor, and he earned a reputation for reconciling feuding parties. His relics are preserved and venerated in the city of Barcelona.
