Sts. Processus and Martynians,Roman Martyrs
Sts. Processus and Martynians were early Christian martyrs who suffered and died in Rome during the persecution of the Emperor Nero in the 1st century AD. They were imprisoned and tortured for their faith, and eventually executed by beheading. Though little is known about their lives, they are venerated as patron saints of prisoners and those facing trial or persecution for their beliefs.
