St. Eutychius

St. Eutychius was a Christian martyr who lived in the 4th century AD. He was born in Nicomedia, modern-day Turkey, and was executed for his faith during the persecutions of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Eutychius stood firm in his devotion to Christianity, refusing to renounce his beliefs despite threats and torture. He is revered as a courageous and steadfast witness to the Christian faith, and his feast day is celebrated on July 3rd. Eutychius is considered the patron saint of those who suffer from eye diseases or other ailments, and his intercession is sought by the faithful for healing and protection.
