Saint Theobald of Provins
Saint Theobald of Provins was a French nobleman born in the 11th century who renounced his wealth to live a life of prayer and poverty. He became a hermit and later a monk in the Benedictine Abbey at Saint-Maur de Provins. Theobald was known for his humility, charity, and devotion to God. He was canonized in 1073 and remains a popular saint in France, especially among those bearing his name.
