St. Pompilio M. Pirotti, Piarist
St. Pompilio M. Pirotti (1710-1766) was an Italian Catholic priest and member of the Piarist Order. Born in Montebello, he dedicated his life to educating the poor and underprivileged. Known for his kindness, humility, and deep spirituality, he was renowned as a skilled teacher and confessor. Canonized in 1934, St. Pompilio is venerated as the patron saint of teachers and students, and is also invoked for help with difficult tasks.
