Saint Beatrice, martyr of Rome

Saint Beatrice, martyr of Rome, was a Christian woman who suffered martyrdom during the early persecutions of the Church. She was the sister of Saints Simplicius and Faustinus. After her brothers were executed for their faith, Beatrice continued to act charitably and uphold her Christian beliefs. Eventually, she was arrested and strangled to death for refusing to renounce Christ.
