Saint Christine of Bolsena was a young virgin and martyr revered in the Catholic tradition. She lived during the 3rd century and suffered torture and death for her Christian faith in Bolsena, Italy. Christine is said to have endured many brutal torments for refusing to renounce Christianity. Her steadfastness and courage inspired many conversions, and she is invoked as a protector of the oppressed.
