St. John Berchmans,Jesuit
St. John Berchmans was a Jesuit student who lived from 1599 to 1621. Born in Flanders (modern-day Belgium), he was known for his deep devotion to his Catholic faith and his commitment to the Jesuit order. Despite his young age, Berchmans exhibited a maturity and spirituality that inspired those around him. He is venerated for his piety, obedience, and love for the Eucharist. St. John Berchmans is the patron saint of altar servers and Jesuit scholastics.
