Elouan
Saint Elouan was an Irish or British missionary monk who evangelized the region of Armorica (Brittany, France) during the early Middle Ages. He is traditionally considered a companion of Saint Tudy and helped promote Christianity in the area. According to local traditions, he founded a hermitage and became renowned for his piety and miracles. Saint Elouan is venerated especially in Brittany, with several places and churches dedicated to him. His cult is mainly local, but he remains an important figure among Breton Catholics.
