Joshua
Saint Joshua is the successor of Moses and one of the great leaders of the Israelites in the Old Testament. He led the Israelites into the Promised Land after Moses' death and is known for the Battle of Jericho. His fidelity to God and courage are celebrated virtues in Christian tradition. In the Roman Martyrology, he is commemorated as a righteous man and servant of the Lord. Joshua's leadership and faith are examples to all Christians.
