St. Zachary, Prophet
St. Zachary, also known as Zechariah, was a Jewish priest and prophet who lived in the 6th century BC. He is best known for his prophecies recorded in the biblical Book of Zechariah, which foretold the coming of the Messiah. Zachary served as a prophet during the time of the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. He is venerated for his prophecies, which are seen as a significant contribution to the Christian understanding of the Messiah.
