Saint Adrian
Saint Adrian of Nicomedia was a prominent early Christian martyr and soldier who lived in the early 4th century. He was a high-ranking officer in the Roman army and converted to Christianity after witnessing the courage of Christian martyrs. Adrian publicly declared his faith and was subsequently arrested, tortured, and finally martyred. He is venerated as the patron saint of soldiers and prison guards, and his feast day is widely honored.
