Saint Beatrice, martyr of Rome

Saint Beatrice, martyr of Rome, was a Christian woman who lived in the 4th century. She was the sister of Saints Simplicius and Faustinus. After the martyrdom of her brothers under Emperor Diocletian, Beatrice continued to support Christians and was eventually arrested for her faith. She was strangled and then buried secretly by a Roman Christian.
