Saint Gabriel the Archangel

Saint Gabriel the Archangel

St. Gabriel, the Archangel, is venerated as one of the three main archangels in Catholic tradition, along with Raphael and Michael. Though his birth and death dates are unknown, he is believed to have lived in the celestial realm, serving as a messenger of God. Gabriel is best known for announcing the Incarnation of Jesus to the Virgin Mary and for revealing important prophecies to the prophet Daniel. He is the patron saint of communications workers, radio broadcasters, and postal workers, and is invoked for protection, guidance, and heavenly intercession.
