Our Lady of the Rosary

Our Lady of the Rosary

Our Lady of the Rosary is a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary in relation to the Rosary prayer. The devotion developed after the Christian victory at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, attributed to her intercession. Pope Pius V established the feast day to honor Mary for her protection. She is the patroness of many churches and communities globally under this title.
