Saint Sergius
Saint Sergius was a Roman soldier and Christian martyr who lived in the 3rd century. Together with Saint Bacchus, he suffered persecution under Emperor Maximian for his faith. They are venerated especially in the Eastern and Western Catholic traditions. Sergius is often depicted as a military saint and is associated with courage and loyalty to Christ. Their joint martyrdom is a symbol of friendship and steadfast belief.
