Saint Ghislain, abbot of Saint-Ghislain

Saint Ghislain was a hermit and abbot who lived in the 7th century. He is known for founding a monastery in what is now Saint-Ghislain in Belgium. Ghislain was revered for his wisdom and life of prayer. His monastic foundation became a spiritual center in the region.
