Seraphin of Montegranaro
St. Seraphin of Montegranaro (1540-1604) was a lay Capuchin friar known for his piety and charitable works. Born in the Italian town of Montegranaro, he devoted his life to serving the poor and sick. Seraphin joined the Capuchin order as a lay brother and became renowned for his humility, self-denial, and tireless service to others. He is venerated for his deep spirituality and miracles attributed to his intercession, particularly in healing the sick. St. Seraphin is the patron saint of the Capuchin order and is invoked for the sick and dying.
