Saint Bertrand, bishop of Comminges

Saint Bertrand, bishop of Comminges, was born in the 11th century in France. He dedicated his life to reviving the spiritual and moral life of his diocese, restoring churches, and promoting charity among the faithful. Bertrand was well-known for his wisdom, humility, and zeal for reform in both church and society. He died in 1123 and is venerated as the patron saint of the city of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges.
