Leonard of Noblac
St. Leonard was a 6th-century French hermit and patron saint of prisoners. Born into a noble family, he renounced his wealth and status to live a life of prayer and service. He spent many years as a hermit in the forests of central France, where he established a monastery and cared for the poor and sick. Leonard was known for his miracles, including the freeing of prisoners and the healing of the sick. He is venerated as the patron saint of prisoners, captives, and those in chains.
