Saint Carine, martyr of Ankara
Saint Carine, martyr of Ankara, was a Christian who suffered martyrdom in the early centuries of the Church. She was the wife of Saint Melasippus and the mother of Saint Antoninus. Together with her family, she faced persecution for her faith during a time of intense hostility against Christians. Saint Carine remained steadfast and was ultimately executed for refusing to renounce her beliefs.
