Saint Christian, martyr of Prussia, was a Cistercian monk and missionary of the 13th century. He was consecrated as the first bishop of Prussia, devoted to evangelizing the pagan Prussian tribes. He endured persecution and hardship for the faith, bravely continuing his mission under dangerous circumstances. His memory is honored on December 11 in the Roman Martyrology.
