Saint Aemilian
Saint Aemilian (Emilianus) was a 6th-century Spanish hermit and monk known for a life of asceticism and charity. Born in La Rioja, he spent most of his life in solitude and prayer near the Monastery of San Millán de la Cogolla, which was named after him. He was famed for his miracles and spiritual guidance, attracting many disciples. Today, he is venerated as one of the great Spanish saints.
