Saint Maria Karolina Kózka
Saint Maria Karolina Kózka was a Polish Roman Catholic virgin and martyr. Born in 1898, she was known for her deep piety and devotion to the Eucharist. She was murdered at the age of 16 defending her purity during an attack in World War I. Her commitment to faith and virtue made her a model for youth. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1987.
