Saint Octavian, martyr of Carthage
Saint Octavian was a deacon who suffered martyrdom in Carthage during the persecutions under the Vandal ruler Huneric. He was executed together with several companions because of his steadfast faith. Octavian is honored in Catholic tradition as an example of courage and fidelity to Christ. Few other personal details about his life or martyrdom have been preserved.
