Saint Valerian
Saint Valerian was a Christian martyr of the early Church, notably known as the husband of Saint Cecilia. He converted to Christianity and received baptism at the hands of Pope Urban I. Along with his brother Tiburtius, Valerian devoted himself to acts of charity and faith. Both were arrested for refusing to offer sacrifices to pagan gods, steadfastly upholding their faith and ultimately martyred for Christ.
