St. Asella was a Roman virgin who lived in the 4th century. She dedicated her life to God from a young age, taking a vow of virginity and living a life of prayer and asceticism. Asella was known for her piety, wisdom, and charitable works, and she became a respected figure in the early Christian community of Rome.
