Saint Marian, deacon and martyr of Numidia
Saint Marian was a deacon and martyr from Numidia, in North Africa. He suffered persecution during the Decian persecutions in the third century, together with Saint James and several companions. Despite torture and hardship, he remained steadfast in his faith. His courage and devotion are commemorated by the Church on December 19th.
