Saint Emiliana was a Roman virgin and the aunt of Pope Gregory the Great. She lived a life of deep prayer and asceticism, together with her sister Tharsilla. Emiliana was known for her piety, charity, and devotion to God. After the death of her sister, Emiliana died soon after, having led a holy life.
