St. Vincent Pallotti, priest, Founder of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate
St. Vincent Pallotti (1795-1850) was a Roman Catholic priest and the founder of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, a religious society dedicated to promoting the apostolate of all the faithful. Born in Rome, he devoted his life to serving the poor and marginalized, and is known for his deep spirituality and tireless efforts to revive the Church's missionary spirit. Pallotti is venerated for his humility, charity, and unwavering commitment to the universal call to holiness. He is the patron saint of Catholic Action and the Pallottine Fathers and Sisters.
