Saint Cyrus

Saint Cyrus was a physician and early Christian martyr, venerated together with Saint John. He was renowned for his kindness and skills as a healer, administering medicine without charge to the sick. Alongside John, he encouraged fellow Christians during the persecutions under Diocletian. Both were martyred for their faith in Alexandria around the beginning of the 4th century. Saint Cyrus is especially venerated as a wonderworker and healer.
