Saint Eulalia of Barcelona
Saint Eulalia of Barcelona was a young Christian virgin and martyr who suffered during the persecution of Christians under Diocletian in the early 4th century. Tradition holds that she was only thirteen years old when she courageously confessed her faith. She endured numerous tortures without wavering before dying for her belief in Christ. Saint Eulalia is a co-patron of Barcelona, and her relics are venerated in the city’s cathedral.
