Feast day · February 24
Sts. Eventius and Peter
Saints Eventius and Peter were early Christian martyrs who were executed in Rome during the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD. Eventius was a priest and Peter was a deacon. Together, they faced persecution and torture for their faith, but remained steadfast in their beliefs. They were eventually sentenced to death and martyred. The Church honors their courage and commitment to Christianity by celebrating their feast day on February 24th. They are venerated as patron saints of those facing persecution for their faith.
