Saint Caius
St. Caius was the bishop of Rome and Pope from 283 to 296 AD. He was born in Dalmatia and is believed to have been a relative of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. As pope, he is credited with reorganizing the Church's administrative structure and encouraging the spread of Christianity throughout the Roman Empire. St. Caius is venerated for his devotion to the faith and his efforts to strengthen the papacy during a time of persecution. He is the patron saint of Dalmatia and is commemorated on April 22nd, the date of his death.
