Saint Valery, abbot of Leuconay
Saint Valery, abbot of Leuconay, was a monk and abbot in 7th-century France. Originally from Auvergne, he embraced the monastic life at an early age and later settled near the mouth of the Somme River. There he founded the monastery of Leuconay, which became a center of Christian life and charity. Saint Valery was known for his piety, miracles, and care for the poor.
