St. Felix of Nicosia
St. Felix of Nicosia (1715-1787) was a Capuchin friar born in Nicosia, Sicily. He was known for his deep piety, asceticism, and miraculous powers. Felix spent his life serving the poor and sick, and was renowned for his gift of prophecy and healing. He was canonized in 1986 by Pope John Paul II, who recognized his selfless devotion and his miracles. St. Felix is the patron saint of Nicosia and is invoked for protection against epidemics.
