Saint Justin Martyr
St. Justin, also known as Justin Martyr, was a prominent early Christian philosopher and apologist who lived in the 2nd century AD. Born around 100 AD in Flavia Neapolis (modern-day Nablus, Palestine), Justin converted to Christianity in his youth and dedicated his life to defending the faith against pagan criticisms. He wrote several influential works, including his famous "First Apology" and "Dialogue with Trypho." Justin was martyred in Rome around 165 AD for refusing to renounce his Christian beliefs. He is venerated as the patron saint of philosophers and is remembered for his unwavering commitment to Christianity in the face of persecution.
