Sts. Marcellinus, priest, and Peter, exorcist, martyrs on the via Labicana
Sts. Marcellinus and Peter were Roman martyrs who were executed for their Christian faith during the Diocletianic Persecution in the early 4th century. Marcellinus was a priest, and Peter was an exorcist. They were killed on the Via Labicana in Rome around the year 304 AD. Marcellinus and Peter are venerated for their steadfast witness to the Gospel, even in the face of persecution. They are the patron saints of the town of Pinerolo, Italy.
