St. Paola Frassinetti, Virgin, Foundress of the Sisters of saint Dorothy
St. Paola Frassinetti was a Catholic saint and the foundress of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Dorothy. Born in 1809 in Genoa, Italy, she dedicated her life to serving the poor and educating children. She established several schools and orphanages, and her congregation grew to have houses throughout Italy. Paola Frassinetti was known for her deep spirituality, her compassion for the less fortunate, and her innovative educational methods.
