Sts. John and Festo, Martyrs on the via Salaria antica

Sts. John and Festo were early Christian martyrs who were executed on the via Salaria antica in Rome, Italy. They are believed to have suffered during the persecution of the Roman emperor Valerian in the 3rd century AD. Though few details are known about their lives, they are venerated for their courageous witness to the faith, even unto death.
