Maximus of Turin

Maximus of Turin was a bishop and theologian who lived at the turn of the 5th century. He is known for his eloquent sermons, many of which survive today and provide insight into early Christian doctrine and pastoral care. Maximus played a key role in guiding his flock during the invasions and turmoil of late Roman Italy. He is venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church for his wisdom and leadership.
